Basque Cheesecake for Naked TV
The Brief
A member of Naked TV's production team — credited on documentary and lifestyle series for the Fremantle label — required a special cheesecake for an in-office birthday. Something elegant, indulgent, and easy to serve, with a firm delivery deadline of 3pm.
Our Creation
Mooies crafted a signature Traditional San Sebastián Basque Cheesecake — rich, caramelised, and rustic in finish, yet perfectly indulgent for a creative office setting. Its distinctive burnt surface and creamy centre made it a refined alternative to a traditional celebration cake.
Delivery & Set-Up
The cheesecake was delivered on time to Naked TV's offices on Stephen Street. On the way in, the Mooies team crossed paths with the Britain's Got Talent tour bus, walking right past Amanda Holden and Bruno Tonioli as they boarded — an unexpected brush with fame on the way to reception.
Why It Matters
This was a small, time-sensitive delivery into one of the UK's leading production houses, and it landed exactly on schedule despite a fixed deadline. It's proof Mooies can be trusted with precision timing even on modest, single-cake orders — the same reliability a larger production or media commission would demand — and the coincidental moment with two recognisable BGT faces adds a genuinely fun footnote to a well-executed delivery.
