The Brief
FSL’s Research & Marketing Director, Andrea Webb, contacted Mooies with a last-minute request for a couture number cake to mark a key corporate celebration.
The brief was precise and time-sensitive — to design a “3” and “0” cake, in Mooies’ signature vanilla sponge with lemon filling, styled in shades of deep blue, incorporating macarons, blueberries, blackberries, and chocolate swirls.
The order was confirmed and executed within days, reflecting Mooies’ ability to deliver high-impact luxury at pace.
Our Creation
Mooies crafted a dual-tier number cake (3 and 0) with layers of vanilla sponge and lemon curd, frosted with smooth vanilla buttercream.
The design blended tones of navy, sky blue, and midnight — elevated with handcrafted macarons, fresh berries, and dark chocolate curls for contrast.
The result: an elegant centrepiece that combined corporate sophistication with couture artistry, tailored perfectly for Financial Software Ltd’s professional environment.
Delivery & Set-Up
The cake was hand-delivered via Mooies’ Concierge Service to Financial Software Ltd’s City of London headquarters at 11 Ironmonger Lane, arriving before 4PM on 19 September 2024.
Despite its short turnaround, the order was executed flawlessly — arriving fully assembled, chilled, and presented in Mooies’ signature packaging for direct boardroom display.
