A hummingbird cake is a soft, moist sponge made with ripe banana, pineapple and pecans, traditionally finished with cream cheese frosting. It began in Jamaica, where it was named after the island’s national bird, and became a favourite across the American South. Ours is back for autumn as part of our Autumn Cakes & Treats collection.

What Does Hummingbird Cake Taste Like?
